AeroDiscover at Cowley Academy Careers Fair

It’s careers season again, and AeroDiscover is out and about across the region!

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the lovely Cowley Academy in the heart of Spalding, Lincolnshire, as part of the South Lincolnshire Academy Trust’s 2025 Careers Fair.

The AeroDiscover team shared insights into the wide world of STEM careers, with a special focus on the exciting opportunities within the aviation and engineering sectors.

While a career in aviation and engineering might not be everyone’s first thought, there truly is a pathway for almost everyone within this vast, dynamic, and fast-evolving field. The students were open-minded, curious, and enthusiastic — and, of course, the freebies went down a treat!

A huge thank you to Cowley Academy for the warm welcome and for hosting such an inspiring event. We hope we’ve sparked a few ideas (and maybe a few future STEM careers!) along the way.
