New Aviation Exploration Labs Collaboration: Inspiring the Next Generation in Your Classroom

We’re delighted to announce a new collaboration as part of AeroDiscover Aviation Exploration Labs.

These hands-on classroom sessions are designed to inspire students and ignite their interest in the aviation and aerospace sectors, offering them a unique opportunity to explore potential future pathways in these exciting fields.

Through the support of the University of Nottingham’s Aerospace Engineering Faculty, trained STEM Ambassadors will be delivering these engaging sessions directly to schools across the East Midlands by arrangement. The labs will feature an innovative Flatsat activity, giving students a practical, immersive experience in aviation technology. Training of the STEM Ambassadors is taking place early this September in anticipation of Autumn term delivery.

What This Means for Your School:

Interactive Learning: Students will participate in practical, aviation-focused activities that bring the world of aerospace to life in your classroom.

Next Steps: Schools that find their students eager to learn more can further their interest by advancing to the CanSat competition, providing an even deeper dive into aerospace engineering.

Fully Supported: All necessary kits for the Aviation Exploration Labs will be provided, ensuring your school has everything needed for a successful session.

This initiative is a fantastic way to broaden students’ horizons and introduce them to the vast opportunities within the aviation and aerospace industries. We’re excited to bring this enriching experience to your classroom, helping you inspire the next generation of engineers, pilots, and aerospace innovators.
